Marvel and Sony hits the sweet spot with a comic book animation Spider-Man. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is everything a spiderman fan dreams of watching and more. Marvel and Sony were able to combine different Spiderman universes to create cinematic magic.
The movie is like stepping inside of a comic and watching the pages turn themselves. Into the Spider-Verse takes a different approach to a Spider-Man movie not only by using comic book animation but by adding multiple Spider-man characters, such as Gwen Stacy, a female Spider-Man, and Noir, a Spider-Man from the World Wars.
Spider-Man creates a perfect origin story with the main character, Miles Morales, starting from the bottom and becoming the next hero his city needs. At first Miles becomes reluctant that he will never live up to the expectations of Spider-Man but later overcomes his fears and doubts to save the city.
Not only is the movie a visual masterpiece but it takes itself to the next level by adding a great soundtrack that fits with all different cultures. (Miles Morales being both African American and Hispanic) Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has something for everyone whether you enjoy superheroes or not.
In my opinion, Into the Spider-Verse is a top 3 spider-man movie and I would give it a 10/10 for its unique storyline, amazing soundtrack, and the use of graphics that contribute to the story
